DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN)– We are finally going to see some rain across the Wiregrass and it is going to be much needed. After many weeks of dry weather an area of low pressure is going to bring some tropical moisture to the Wiregrass and we are going to finally see widespread rainfall. Totals could reach up to 2-3 inches in some portions of the Wiregrass and could help those drought conditions.
Rain chances are going to remain high through the rest of the week up until Friday, and we are going to clear out for our weekend. It is also great mention we have a level 1 “Marginal Risk” of flash flooding as well, so remember “Turn around, don’t drown.”
It is going to be a beautiful weekend ahead as we are going to cool off into the 70s and possibly upper 60s, and we are going to be fairly dry.
As always thank you for reading, and for more information watch us on WDHN.
