MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WDHN) — The last day for Alabama voters to turn in their absentee ballot for the General Election is on Monday.

The absentee voting period for the November General Election started on Wednesday, September 14.

Monday, November 7, is the last day for voters to turn in their absentee ballots by hand. However, the Absentee Election Manager may still receive ballots by mail until noon on Election Day, Tuesday, November 8.

Absentee ballot applications can be downloaded online or requested by calling or visiting the local Absentee Election Manager’s office

Voters who are eligible to vote under the Uniformed and Overseas Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA) will have until Tuesday, November 8 to send an absentee ballot.
